Use Pin & Fix with your AI
Your AI reads the open notes on your website, fixes them in your site’s code, and — once the change is live — moves them to “To check” for the person who wrote them. It runs on your computer with your own Google sign-in. There is no Pin & Fix server.
Claude Desktop
The easiest way. Nothing else to install: Claude brings everything it needs. On a Mac or Windows PC.
- Double-click the downloaded pinandfix.mcpb. Claude Desktop opens it.
- Click Install.
- Ask Claude: “Fix my Pin & Fix notes.” The first time, your browser opens Google sign-in: choose the Google account you use in the Pin & Fix extension and allow access. Then ask Claude again.
Cursor and VS Code
Coming soon: these two buttons work once the pinandfix-mcp package is published. Use Claude Desktop meanwhile.
Click the button, confirm in the editor, then ask its AI to fix your Pin & Fix notes. Needs Node.js 20 or newer on your computer.
Claude Code
In your website’s folder, run:
claude mcp add pinandfix -- npx -y pinandfix-mcp
Works once the pinandfix-mcp package is published. Needs Node.js 20 or newer.
Teach your AI the routine (optional)
The Pin & Fix skill tells the AI how to work through the notes: fix, publish the site, check the live page, then mark the notes fixed — and to tell you in plain words when your site still needs publishing (for example the Publish button in Lovable).
- Claude Desktop or claude.ai: open Settings, find Skills, and upload the zip as it is.
- Claude Code: unzip it into
~/.claude/skills, so the file ends up at~/.claude/skills/pinandfix/SKILL.md.
Good to know
- Several websites? The AI asks which one, or tell it: “Fix the Pin & Fix notes for example.com.”
- What it can see: only the Pin & Fix sheets in your Google Drive, with the same permission as the extension. Your notes go from your sheet to the AI you connected, nowhere else. Details in the privacy policy.
- claude.ai, ChatGPT or Gemini in the browser cannot run tools on your computer. Use Copy for AI in the extension instead.
